Its so bloody confusing. 24 hours, too much things to do.

I have my training commitments
I have to work
I need friends
I need basketball
I need to play games

There are too many a times friends ask me out for either dinner or just a bite. But so far, I rejected them because on Mon, Wed, Fri I'll need to rush down to gombak. And on Tues and thurs, I need my basketball.

DISM guys asked me out for steak! That's like what I've been wanting to do since dono when. But ohohoh, rejected.

ITP friends occasionally asked to go for dinner or have fun. I needed some bonding session, but I rejected again.

And now, tomorrow I'm going down to SWF tml, and I'LL REJECT A WHOLE LOT OF MORE PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE. Wtf, even Sat is packed now.

This calls for a time to think about time management. This sucks. When will I say yes?

The problem now is that i'm quite far from my aim of reducing another 5 by february. In fact its out of reach.

But i'm feeling like its because of how consistent i've been working out and the fact that i'm eating too little and the wrong stuff too.

But i know i'll be doing fine.

Incline Bench Press: 27.5/45
Flat Bench Press: 32.5/50
Back Squats: 45/70
Military Presses: 25/52.5
Bent-over rows: 32.5/65
Deadlifts: 47.5/90
Pullups: 2/8

I'll be looking to work harder in my bench presses. They're too gay to be true. I'll be adding more to my back squats soon. So far my only problems are the presses.

I'll be back to training alone. Both good and bad. The good thing is that i can finish by an hour, the bad thing is that i won't dare to go heavy on the bench presses and squats. Its time i planned a meal plan.

Since i'm having attachment, i've gotta wake early to prepare lunch and crap. So its gonna be 7 oclock mornings for me.

7.30am - Oats with fruits or 3 eggs with a can of tuna.
10am - Nuts with 3 eggs
1pm - Home prepared rice with 2 chicken breast with vege.
4pm - Nuts with fruits.
7pm - Milk more meat be it fish or whatever.

Only 2 cheat meals per week.

Same goal as before, lose fat gain muscle and my lifelong goal of up-ing my fitness.

When we talk fitness, these are the qualities:

As for guitaring, i'm doing fine trying out my first fingerstyle song, Freight train. Hopefully i can play Dixie mcguire soon. Still working on Angelina.

Seems like my dad and my playing styles are too different. So many electric guitars in the house, but i still sticked to my trusty guitar. So many cool distortion pedals, but i chose the pure acoustic guitar sound.

What Tommy Emmanuel said was really quite true. Repetition is what is important for fingerstyle. I've remembered playing Angelina for more than 20 times a day for the past one yr and i'm stilling playing it.

crazy stuff. so beautiful, but that only comes with hard work. This song is a million times harder than freight train.

Anyway, focus is the key.

And very quickly, another year has passed. Like last year, i will do a quick summary of this very encouraging year, and my new year resolutions. My new year resolutions for last year was more or less fulfilled this year.

My improvements from 2006
1) I manage to love basketball again.

2) I'm playing basketball, i'm eating. Although i'm still not studying.

3) About the healthy lifestyle program. I read through what I wrote last year, and I've seen how much I've matured towards nutrition and exercise this year. And what I wrote last year was totally rubbish. No breakfast? No lunch? Wtf? That was more unhealthy than healthy. I think I've totally turned around in this area of my life. So so much.

I've totally owned my goal of reaching my target weight. And in the right way, not the pussy I-will-starve-myself-and-do-crunches way. I looked and read at how my nutrition sucked. I cant eat that much crap now, although i can, but I know my limit. I can proudly say that I've lost 10kg of fats (I didnt have muscle in the first place) in this time of 8 months. Its slow, it could only need 3months. But I still must say my nutrition still suck now. But its gotten so much better. I've got back my sec 3 weight of 70kg.

I tried alittle of weight training. And of cause, if u're a noob, you'll always start with the all-time favourite, THE BICEP CURL. You just cant stop curling, because that's the only thing you know how to do. Suddenly, I had the interest of weight training and its benefits to a person's physical health. I began to visit the gombak clubfitt gym after hesitating to go because of psychological barriers. I started having the habit to visit it 3 times every week from 24/9/2007. I started running intervals with Zhi hao, and I've improve my stamina. From 5 cycles with longest time 1min + to 5 cycles 50+secs.

I finally did my first pullup 18/12/2007. I fulfilled my goal again, doing my first by the last day of 2006. No zero fighter no more. I know i sound like i'm bragging, but i'm really proud of myself. I didnt know i could be so determined and being constantly challenging my limits.

4) WTF was I thinking. Bass guitar? I ditched the idea, I still like my acoustic guitar. My dad early in this year asked me to do a search on a guy named "Tommy Emmanuel" on youtube. I did, and i clicked on the song Angelina. It freaked me out. He's the best.

Its hard to say, but the more you study music, the more you look into it, the more complicated it becomes. And its just so beautiful. The first time I listened to this song, it was plain great. And then it urged me to rewatch it a few times (infact i'm watch videos regarding music many times over), and i started to think. How the hell he comes out with such a beautiful piece. Plus i play acoustic guitar myself. And i must tell you, its damn hard to play it let alone playing it with feeling. It kills. Now i rewatch a music video at least twice. My opinion is that it takes some knowledge in music and some maturity in music to appreciate such music. Not that pop sucks, but its just not so deep than tommy's pieces.

I went to his concert in singapore, I was in heaven. Music kills. Even heavy metal fans comment on tommy's videos in youtube. What an influence to music. And now, I quite know my drive towards guitar playing, fingerstyle.

Once again, he pwnnzz your balls.

I didnt get what this song was playing at first, but i made it a point to rewatch videos. And wtf, speechless. Just listen to that simple melody. No need any lyrics to explain.

5) I'm not a geek at home. When i'm bored i just jio my friends and arrange for a outing. LOL. FISHING!!!! In fact nowadays i spent time listening to music when i'm at home. Its tommy emmanuel's fault.

6) I really have financial difficulties this year. Its like my wallet is always the same thickness. zzz. I think i'll just enjoy my life and heck the money. I've lost my interest in electronic gadgets. Its the thumbpick and me.

New Year Resolutions

1) Healthier Lifestyle

I'll aim to lose another 5 by end of February 2008. Then, achieve a flat tummy by June 2008. And some visible lines by October of 2008. (That's what i told jiquan in my conversation, so i'll go according to that)

Get more muscle definition. That's all for the physical appearance part.

I aim to do 10 pullups or more by September of 2008.

I aim to bring down my interval timing to an average of 40secs for at least 6 cycles by June of 2008.

I aim to bring my 2.4km timing to under 12 minutes.

I aim to up my weights for:
Bench press to 50kg by June 2008
Full Squat to 70kg by June 2008
Military Press to 3/4 of bodyweight by June 2008
Bent over rows to 65kg by June 2008

Eat more healthly this coming year. Less cheat meals. No protein powder. Maybe I'll challenge myself to refrain from fast food and tibits like chocs and ruffles, and see how long i can persist. Real hard goals, but I stick to work out hard, I know i can get results.

Oh yea, I have a crazy aim of having Batista's physique by 2015. It sounds like i'm joking but i'm not. Aims are not dreams.

2) Guitaring Dreams
I pick my way through. I aim to find something to play when i step inside music shops.Aim to discover music and study music in a more profound way.

3) Culture new hobbies

I can now say proudly that i'm no longer a zero fighter.

Just did 1 standard pullup just now. The feeling's so great.

I've got a better running time today too. 41secs.

Lol, the past week was fun and exciting. Fooled ard with sec sch classmates @ the class bbq. Saw changes in some of them. The rest remained the same like the osalians.

Nigel gone into cr4zy mode making everyone laugh like cr4zy. Gary (Love doctor) asked almost everyone about their current relationships and of cause his lol hand gestures. Gin Loen openly revealed his relationship with Jayne at last. Huijun is just too different, from a harry potter freak to a freak. Haoyih picked up smoking. Kawai and his white body. Khai Chin without the punky hair. Audrey with some auntie hairdo making accusations that i'm not active in SP. Roy was quiet more matured maybe.

Gin Loen told me that barcardi breezer would change my perspective on alcohol. I would say yes, just a little. But the truth is still that alcohol will never beat soft drinks in terms of taste. Furthermore, barcadi breezer only contain gay amounts of alcohol. Barcardi tasted like syrup. Gin Loen, make me more convinced.

Ate quite alot at the bbq.

Went for another movie outing with the guys yesterday. Saw Weiquan after a super long time. We all chatted on the bus loudly and laughed like there's no one on the bus. But that's why its a joy to go out with them. Talking about the past memories. Watched warlords, wtf all die. zZz...

Always proud to call them my friends. And i thought when i went to SP i would have great friends like them. I was partially wrong.

I've got new plans for the new year but i'll include them in my new year post.

Its so quick, can't believe its almost one year since i've seen some of my sec schmates.

Already week 7 of the 2nd semester. 2 weeks of holidays coming in a month. And soon enough, the 2nd year ends. I've got WEBS test tml, and i don't really have the mood to read the slides, so i'm here to blog about my progress.

I'm definitely getting stronger, but i'm quite sure i'm gonna suck in running long distances (2.4) , since i havent been running long distances for 2-3 weeks. I'm definitely over 75kg, but again i'm sure some of it is muscle gain. Don't really have the mood to set new challenges since i'm having tests now and i feel like shit. But maybe a rough one right now, maybe 73kg by year end. Hopefully all fat loss and not muscle.

I'm seeing improvement in my assisted pullups. Started from 5 sets of 5 (36kg of assistance, 7 weeks ago) down to 5 sets of 5 (27kg). I'm nearly there.

I'm eating well, almost 5-6 meals a day. But just that it isnt very clean.

I'm definitely not working out hard enough. Where's my cardio? zZz...I need new reasonable plans.
My HIIT plans are not working out right, cuz i need junwei (Sexy Boss) as someone to time for me. But most of the time he's working at nights, or if not we'll divert to basketball.

I need to run long distances besides doing HIIT. If not my 2.4 wtf.

I don't wanna miss basketball too.

Looks very hardcore actually. Trial week shall start next week. I need a timer for HIIT. I'm sure if i do this faithfully, the 2kg of fats will melt like butter on hot pan. Sure easy peasy. But its so hard to keep it constant.

So quickly the 3rd week is over. And i'm still coping well with both studies and fitness. Only that my diet is alittle going off course. Still and i think i've gained quite a alittle more weight, but doesnt really bother me. Other than that, i think i'm doing well.

I havent skip a lesson for 3 weeks, which is quite an improvement.

I've a spot in a group for all my projects already which is miraculous.

I've faithfully been going to gombak gym 3 times a week from the 2nd week of school.

I've incoporated barbell squats in my gym work

I've yet to make HIIT a part of my habit yet.

I've yet to get rid of those skin parasites on my elbow.

I've yet to plan a 6 meal plan

I've yet to incorporate deadlifting in my gym work

I've yet to learn how to clean and push press

I've yet to be able to do a standard pullup

I'll definitely make effort to do the things i've yet to do. But the 6 meal plan is really difficult when it comes to eating at school. What do i eat? Chicken rice? Cr4zy, the chicken less den the fried skin of the chicken. Jap food? The meat tastes incredibly 'tasty' with the use of excess preservatives and the meat look like shreds. Soup noodle, err how much nutritional value is in there. Western stall? I love the oil. =.='''

If i eat any of the above, i think that one meal could easily amount to 2 meals of anything but protein.

Went to get a haircut last friday. Many people asked me what motivated me to cut 'number 1' (close to bald). There are actually alot of reasons.

1.) Hair Damaged. Looks like a clump of withered grass.
2.) Obstructs exercising.
3.) Weather is super hot. I keep sweating
4.) Neater
5.) Fuck looks.
6.) A long time since i've cut tt short (Last time was sec 3)

Until now, i don't know how some people get the motivation to style their hair so nicely. I'll probably do it the first day, then i won't do it again.

As usual went to gym yesterday, but first time @ 3pm. It was super cr4zy. I think there was at least 40 people at the gym. But I still got the job done. Saw this guy doing bicep curls using dumbbells and ez bars and preacher curls for at least an hour. LOL. Stop curling la. LOL.

Just alittle too quick. The semester starts again. New plans.

I tried out some hardcore crap this first week of school and thought its too hardcore. So I decided to slow down things.

This week i tried to be funny and on monday, wednesday and friday wake up at 6am, reach gombak gym @ 7am, reach school @ 9am. Nights go do some running + burpee intervals. Not too successful to be honest, which means i need to slow things down.

The feeling after the running/burpee intervals were sensational, can literally feel the heat. And of cuz, i got stares from the leisure joggers when i stopped at every 200m mark to do burpees.

LOL. Don't worry, i stopped every 200m for burpees THEN i rested. If not i'll go nuts.

Early gym sessions didnt work for me either. I didnt go today cuz i couldn't get out of bed @ 6am. Other than that, very nice environment. But what surprised me was that I didnt know Singaporeans were so healthy. There's like 6 people already inside the gym when i stepped in @ 0705 (it opens @ 0700 on odd days). No choice, i'm not some rich kid living in a landed property, so even if i've got the money to get a home gym, i won't have the space.

So i decided to revamp my exercise plan for the semester after a week of trial test.

Early morning for me, no choice, rise @ 6am, reach gombak @ 7am, reach school by 9am.

My aim is to pass my first ever fitness test with a LEGITIMATE gold.

This semester has really been cr4zy. First, my studies really sucked this semester.

-Failed ALL my modules for mid semester test.
ACG - 40+
ELSA - 15
SDT - 40+
SAPD - No test
NETS - 40+

-2 warning letters for poor attendance.

GEMS - Entrepreneurship

-Director wants to see and talk to 3 students in my course for a "Review in Academic Performance" (one of them is me)

But on the good side, i think i'm learning every semester. Last semester, I decided to be more active in exercising, and not always staying at home. And i did it this semester, i decreased the time i spent on my plastic chair in my room. And i'm quite proud to say, i managed to increase my fitness level. And also, i didnt really feel the drag to come to school.

So i'm quite determined to work on this few areas of my life next semester:

-To listen during lectures
VERY HARD. But must tank. Try to make my results look good, after 1 yr of lousy GPA (Cumulative GPA:1.9 LOL?)

-Come for lessons. (Try to make ponning of lessons minimal, maybe 2 lessons per week)
Trying to wake up for earlier lessons are hard, but i'll try to achieve that but practicing good sleeping habits.
Try to wake up 8am everyday during holidays.

-Fitness
I run like some weakling, although i've improved. I'll train till achieve good timing.
Embarrasing, but i wanna do my first pullup soon (i aim to achieve it during these holidays). Now can pull 3/4. LOL?
Gain muscle, lose fat

-To work to gain trust from classmates to select me willingly as a teammate
This is cr4zy, I had the teammates i dread i will have for ACG. Cuz they're like cliques, and i'm the leftover. So guess what i did in the project? The whole project i only did the personal reflection. WTF?! Not that i don't wanna do but i don't know what to do cuz i don't listen in class. And they didnt asked me to do other stuff. (Very obvious, cuz they know i wun know what to do even if they asked me to do it). Feel like some useless junk. So, I will make sure i understand modules. FROM ZERO TO HERO. And yes, to all that look down on me, i'll make sure you beg me for my help next semester.

LOL, i aso don't know why this semester like so poor. BUT, because of my birthday, i've managed to cover the hole i dug when i bought my speakers. I've always only had like $10- $40 dollars in my wallet this semester. Must be the sexpensive food i ate this semester. Hog's breath, mathatten fish market. And the movies i watch this semester is alot la. Far more than last semester. Spent money on Battlefield 2142, Tommy Emmanuel tickets also. Next semester, i shall not eat so much ex food.

Tommy Emmanuel
On the 21st July, went to watch Tommy Emmanuel with Dad. So excited that day. Cabbed down to esplanade, had our dinner @ thai express. Didn't really care about food la, too excited to watch him play liaoz. Went into the concert hall after makaning. I looked around me, and it really encouraged me, and confirmed that music has no boundaries, it doesnt take a teen to like pop music. And it doesnt mean instrumental jazz has to be listened by another group of people.

I saw musicians, uncles, kids, teenagers, working adults, old man with woman, angmor, chinese, malay rockers with long hair, indians sitting in their sits, equally or maybe even more excited guessing what he would play that night.

Lights dimmed, and there he was. I didnt really expect him to be so tall la, i see him in concert dvds look so short. Angmor size.

Wakao, he play live super SHIOK man. I there wanna shake legs and bob my head like how i'll listen to music at home, but paiseh la. So i controlled, but my legs still tapping to the beat and my hands tapping aso. Played songs like Mombasa, Windy and Warm, Guitar boogie, tall fiddler.

He played a song i've never heard b4 and it was ruby's eyes (coming out in the next album). super soothing.

Songs that speak so much even w/o lyrics. Meaningful. Please stop listening to rap music. LOL.

It was the first time i saw my father watching in awe and listening like a kid watching barney. So attentive, and wtf!!! i couldn't believe it, he didnt doze off.

The next time Tommy Emmanuel is in Singapore, i'll definitely go. This time nearer to the stage.

Just finish last semester exam. Best la, so relieved. The timetable shall start tml!!!

Day one was postponed to today, cuz yesterday i gave myself a reason to procrastinate - jayne holding on to my passion card. zZz, but nvm, i deserved tt break. Erm?

Today went to jurong east to makan million fishballs with Fabian, cuz the rest werent ready to SACRIFICE (oUcH!!!) their SAPD lesson. Funny pple, don't think i duno you all in SAPD aso nv listen. Maybe they hum no attendance to take.

Btw gin, the fishball noodles there still the best. Duck rice aso still there, but alil kiam siap on the lor sauce.

Den after school go home told mum i was gonna study at cc den go gym alil. Suprising she encouraged me to study, and trusted me to study. But knowing i'll get distracted easily, she said, "Study ar, don't later study 1hr go play 3hr."

Impossible to play anyway, that's the benefit of having my sister's computer. Low tech. LOL

i spent 1 and a half hrs looking into pract 2 or maybe only into scopes. I did wad i did 2 yrs ago during o's when i still had time. JO's custom MINDMAPS this time using Freemind. Last time was use pencil and paper.

Reminds me of the time whre i squeezed 1 txtbk into 5 doubleside papers for chemistry. i'm starting to love it.

After finishing scopes, i went gym to do some crap. Then now i'm back to the study room doing this post. Its 7.15. zZz... Life's gonna change for me.

But its addictive.

Day one, dun overwork, time to get home to play games and watch tv.

Lol, i was quite right and not really surprised.

Its confirmed that i failed all my mst modules.

And in SAPD lesson today, i was starting my study plan.

i was thinking, i could actually do SAPD practicals in class if no one disturbed me or distracted me.

So based on that, I came up with a plan again, not for exercise, but study this time.

Everyday, i would use go to cc's study room with my sister's laptop (since i don't have one. hope she allows) and txtbks to read/study/do practs. But of cuz i wun skip my exercise plan.

2-3hrs a day. Hope this would gimme a pass.

the only thing is that they wun be roys or ginloens that would help when i call them. Its operation lone wolf.

I don't wanna forward module.
I don't wanna make my parents spend 8k on SP for nth.

I broke two of my specs in two weeks. Totally cant believe it when i broke it the second time while playing bball.

My dad wasn't too happy when he heard i broke my specs again cuz another $100+ flew.

Lol, i just found out that the broken specs look like some smiling face. Got some green frame on the other side is blue i tin.

And then for the 2nd time in 3 weeks i'm sick again. And suay suay during holidays again. Dis time its either i overworked or the weather sux. zZz. And again i refuse to see a doctor. Instead, i....

When i saw the results in those pictures, I knew i wasn't a warrior. The first one made me looked like some wrestler. The second make me look like some guiness book of records holder (crush 10 eggs in 10 secs or smth).

And some people have been wondering why the hell must i give funny expressions when i'm in front of the camera. The thing is that i've got some problems expressing myself unnaturally infront of the cam. I'm either too stiff or too LOL.

This is what I got when i tried to be like a normal person taking photos. It just doesnt work. The first one looks like one of those 'mrgarytan89 shots' (LOL, hi gary). The 2nd looks like i'm being forced + bored + sleepy. (I always look liddat when i take group photos).

Dreams
I had some LOL dreams during the NBA playoff periods. One was that the Cavaliers beat the Spurs 76-22 in game 1 jus before game 1 started. Nightmare sia, i hate LBJ and the cavaliers.

Another is that today i dreamt Tim Duncan is my new classmate, WTF?! Tim Duncan, OMFG?! Must be one of the best dreams this year.

A new member of the family.

Last Monday, after ELSA i went straight to lot 1 to get the tickets for the tommy emmanuel concert. Since my dad liked his music too, i decided to get another ticket for him for Father's day.

Good seats. w00t.

Dad smsed me like last friday during DISM PT Lunch suddenly asking me if i wanted a Fender Squire 51' Electric guitar. I said if it was money well spent why not. Although i rather get a better acoustic guitar. In the end he decided to get it @ $320.

And so here comes the 5th guitar in my house,

Lol, ya lo. No money so buy a cheapo guitar. Mayb i'll go get a proper acoustic guitar when i've got enuff money. During holidays work or something. Maybe get a lakewood or larrivee. But that's like minimum SGD$2000.

This is the sixth week of regular exercising, and i'm sure i achieved greater stamina and lost weight. Lost 3kg in 5 weeks. w00t, its something. Today didnt go for any exercise cuz i wasnt feeling good. zZz...of all the weeks it must be during elearning week. I'll try tml. Swimming in the morning and gym in the afternoon. Went gym (lame $1 gym @ segar cc) with jw and nigel. Scary sia...lol...

After gym, cleanup, den played bf2, omfg, i entered the game in the middle of it, and i got 2nd place out of 64 people. almost could've get 1st but my teammate last min so many heals and kills. One of my greatest achievements in bf2.

Hello. I'm back after duno for how nong. But its so far still quite exciting. But school term just started which sucks.

Psychological challenges of a fat boy
After the school term started, I sprung into my exercise program. Not hardcore but good enough for a guy who like hasnt exercise regularly. I chose swimming. Not cuz i've got a sexy body/trunks, but maybe its a good start and easy to keep up with. Cuz i've tried jogging, which made me give up in like 1 week, and bball which is very conditional (bball w/o frenz is super boring, and frenz are hard to find).

The first day was of course scary and embarrassing. I had to face the psychological challenges of a fat boy going to swimming where the guys pose on those white chairs suntanning. And whenever a guy looks at you for more then 5 secs, he's gay. Lol, no la I mean you'll feel like he's thinking, "Wth is this fat boy doing here?" Swim swim swim halfway LEG CRAMP. OMFG...In the middle of the pool somemore. But, i still managed to get to the edge of the pool. One of the worst leg cramps i've experienced. Didnt wanna continue but later swam for another like 10 laps then go home liaoz.

First week - monday, wednesday, and friday.
Second week - tuesday, wednesday, thursday (wanted to go mon - fri, but fuck raining.)
Third week (This week) - Today. ( Please dun rain the rest of the week. Ty.)

*2hrs/day.

I really hope to go on w/o having to think when to stop. I'm still quite willing to go on. At last i've found my motivation to go school. After school can go swim. Ermz, but i'm still late for every first lesson lei.

One last statement
"Posers at the poolside cant swim." XD. Maybe now why they're called posers. Posing + Loser = Poser.

My first big purchase of this year, and probably (definitely) the biggest of all time. I spent $740 all in one day. Pain sia, due to rash behaviour, my plans for my new comp next year is abolished. And now i don't even have enough money for ps3. I really wished I had parents that would support my purchase. So freaking unfair. Sister buy clothes got sponsor, I got no sponsors.

Actually only intended to get a mic for skype and mayb games @ maybe the most $200.

*If u're wondering why $200 so expensive, the answer to you is: I'm crazy, I need this for skype.

3. I only spend money on occasional food treats for family and that's all. Maybe some money with sec sch fren outings.
4. Normal Daily expenditure of 50cents. (Swimming complex entrance fee, yes, I swim for 2 hrs on a empty stomach after sch.)
5. First meal usually @ 5pm. (When i reach home)

So, i'm not rich, but actually a stingy young man. Stingy to myself. But fren fren can lend money la. Or treat. Only stingy to myself. I'm no jw.

All jonathan tan's fault la. I, cr, fabian and jon went to sls to help jonathan get the best bargain for his new comp and get our stuff. Fabian go look see look see. Met @ the sls food court. Ate BCM (bah chor mee). $3.50, ex rite. They really know how to make money man. They make pple no choice, "Abalone minced pork noodle*. Wth, and for one slice of abalone ( Not sure real anot) , its 3.50. But nvm la, BCM only. After that go walk around asking for quotation lor. Jonathan's budget for pc is around 3k-4k so still alright la. How i wished i had that kind of money man.

First skylet then after that fuwell. Settled in fuwell, then bargained like siao, then the guy keep taking out better stuff.

Den we always challenged back by saying, "We get, you discount la."

5.1 speakers, meaning 5 satellites and one subwoofer. The subwoofer is huge. bigger then the mx5021's.
VERYVERY strong bass. Stronger than mx5021, although mx5021 is good. But usually you don't need such a powerful bass unless your room's very big.

Cuz havent found a place to put my rear speakers, so cant experience the surround sound effect and aso no digital coax cable so cant experience digi audio, that's y so low.

Had been wanting to get a keyboard for quite a long time after my logitech keyboard's keys so hard even after washing it. YES!!~~!#)!*$!@ no more hard keys song man. Can type uber fast now. Shiok.

Why so ex for a keyboard? This keyboard is particularly ex because of its brand, Razer. And also because of the LEDs and also for its Macro Keys. A keyboard designed for lazy gamers. And its quite slim.

Again, y so low? Cuz I think macro keys are still quite restrictive. I was thinking of using the macro keys as quick commands in bf2 but commands needed navigation of the mouse, so its not possible. And also G15 is more worth it if u heck design. I may think of getting a G15 after i use this till sian. For the experience.

Before i get to the stuff i really wanna blog, i've been wondering why people have such miserable descriptions of their lives in blogs. Cuz i tot i had the most boring life. I'm beginning to realise singaporeans are getting alil emo nowadays.

"Cuz i tot i had the most boring life." A very good example is the stuff i think about when either i'm about to sleep or maybe even when i'm doing my *Business*. How about one of my all-time favourite question to myself.

No matter how much water u pour in, the water level doesnt seem to rise. WTH?! I've been thinking of this till now even though i've got a few answers to this question. I think i started thinking when i was damn young. I started throwing all the casette tapes and video tapes (this shows how long ago that is) i used to have down the toilet. *I was very young and curious.* I wanted to know what will happen when i flushed it down.

So if u're a *emo thinker, try this as a start. An amazing invention. (Don't gimme that "eeyer disgusting" expression, tt's being emo. It's just a bowl. XD.)

*Emo thinkers in this post are people who are super persimistic.

Oh ya, that time i forgot to put in one thing when i relived my memories. Osalian's 2nd official ball bought by me after i lost the legendary wilson ball.

Yesterday was so very exciting, I went for the C&C3 Tiberium Wars Official Launch @ Shaw house. Woohoho. The event officially started at 1400. But I went there @ 1030 to queue. This is how it works la, u present your preorder card, and you'll redeem from the booth there.

That maybe is the reason why the guy on the preorder card (Kane) points 5 fingers (lame.).

Made some friends at the event there. *Birds of same feathers flock together*. Fool around with some people @ mac when they installing. LOL. After i redeemed my stuff, the queue was wtf-ish long. 3 rounds around the fifth floor. Heng sia. Watched Mr Bean's Hols with some of the guys at the launch and sexy. The carson part is damn funny

Received my results just last week. And there is a mix of emotions. One is "heng man, i passed, dunid forward modules.", and the another is , "This is only the first year and my results suck. + I'm endangering my chances to go for further studies after poly in sing." But it's quite obvious why i didnt do well. Better luck next time. Lol. During o's, i did the best among the osalians, but now, i'm the worst. SP's old zikrie.

Holidays w/o work is fun. People @ home usually feel bored, but with so much entertainment @ home, i'm busy @ home. Lol. I'm back to watching WWE, ever since pri 5 with that WWE trading card game fad. Lol, some of you people may think i'm a nut watching WWE, but its entertainment. The more lame it is, the more entertaining it is. And yes, I've been watching taiwan variety shows on my computer (ever since cr showed me a site to dl from). Back to playing DotA after quite a break. And the osalians outing (refer to Mingwei's Blog or Nigel's) which is so LOL. And yes, I'm looking forward to having the same gems with the other osalians. It'll sure be LOL-ly fun. My own class is alil too quiet and alil too boring. And yes, for the first time in my blog, fuck. School's starting again soon, and yes, i know it's gonna be boring.

The last post i mentioned that i was gonna take out my dad's guitar stuff and play again. And yes, I did the next day.

Alil imba rite. And mingwei, who says that go poly will change. One perfect example that contradicts is right here. I havent change my hairstyle since duno when.

That's for that day. And yes, yesterday i nothing to do, so i went to relive alittle memories. Like the wwe cards which i used to play from pri 5- sec 2. And those who played cards with me during pri sch should still rmb i hold all championship title belts. Pwahaha. With my mankind. My wwe card legacy was alil interesting that mayb few people may experience. 3 hot packs (all summerslam, gay, but at least hot pack rite?). And played so many superstar decks. But it ended when my 2 albums got stolen and that gary confiscating card incident. Looking back, i tin i'm alil stupid wasting all that money. But it bought memories, so its ok.

If you guys playing wwe cards before, that's a 'Turn into the corner turnbuckle'. 6 Fortitude 0 Damage. Can't quite remember the text. I tin its smth to do with increasing the fortitude to the reversals to the next strike or grapple maneuver u play. I don't even know why the heck tt card is in my box.

The next item should still be remembered by my sec3 and 4 classmates. I show the picture u all know liaoz.

The Return.

LOL, after so freaking nong, i'm back.

I didnt blog because:

After that last blog post, "the new year". I had my exams during late January to early February. I think its to 9 Feb. And then go for work i applied with nigel, as some yeo's stationboy or promoter, until now i don't know what job position i was applying for at that time.

Yeo's Man/Boy (Whatever.)

I was stationed at some NTUC @ Depot Heights Shopping Centre @ Depot Rd for a week. Depot Road's near CMPB, which is near Telok Blangah, which is near Redhill/Tiong Bahru, which is not near my house. Working hours usually 10am-10pm so not so bad cuz start late. The job's very relax, very very relaxed. This is how my day is when i'm working there.

I'll take lrt to Choa Chu Kang, then from there all the way to Tiong Bahru Mrt Station, then take a bus 195 to Depot Road. And always, by the time i reach the NTUC, i'm always 1/2hr or more later. Meaning i'll reach there about 1030 or 1100. LOL. But no one will say anything, cuz I don't have a direct boss there. Cuz i'm with yeo's, but there i'm the only yeo's guy, the rest are NTUC workers.

In my NTUC outlet (or most), they have a plain clothes security officer, and he usually is the most free guy in the NTUC, so he always help me mark timesheet lo. But seriously this officer is so lol, i usually come @ 1030 but he always mark my timesheet 1000-2200 straightaway when its still 11 in the morning. And furthermore he usually leave my NTUC outlet @ 1300 everyday. Which means I can knockoff early and collect free money. LOL. Joker.

To explain how slack this job is, lemme tell you how's my day like. When I just come, I will check the stocks inside see whether need replenishing, if need den replenish, if not i'll wait for newpaper to come. LOL. I'll sit on the cartons of drinks and wait. Cuz my outlet seriously no one during morning and afternoon. Then when newpaper come, i'll buy a copy. I'll then take a can of yeo's promo drink and sit down and read newpaper and drink. LOL. wtf. Then i'll sit and take my rounds ard the NTUC to do window shopping and replenish stock. If nth, i'll come out and sit again. Although on paper, my lunchtime suppose to be 1/2hr, I usually take 1 and 1/2hrs. Cuz, go back there so early aso no use, no customer.

And its quite zZz aso. Cuz walk in walk out all uncle and auntie. Not like nigel's outlet. Working staff all uncle auntie aso. If not, its black. Until last day of work den got one not-bad-cashier pop out. But, what's the point?

So, if anyone interested in this yeo's cny thing, can try next yr. But for slackers only. Cuz if u hardworking and you work there confirm feel damn bored. Rmb to bring some form of portable entertainment there.

For the yeo's job i worked there until 16 February. Then i took a rest for a week, then @ 26 February went for another job. This one less enjoyable. But got friend there so nevermind. Its some kinda stock taking job. Definitely not as slack as yeo's but if you like pasting sticker and counting stuff can try. But yeo's still the best la (Nigel can confirm this statement).

LOL, simply a job lo, whre you work, den have break, den work again, oh! finish work liao, den go home lo. This job got from through Nigel from FishingKaki.com. LOL, $6/hr, so ok lo. Worked with Jw A.K.A Sexy Boss. I go there i shocked sia, first time see so many part timers doing the same thing. Counting stuff and pasting sticker. About 40+ i tin. This one can't really slack. Cuz must finish the assignment. Then also under heavy supervision. But not too tough a job la. Not a slacker's job.

I worked there from 26 February to 30 February. On 26 February, I finally got my PSP, after much hesitation. I still remembered I didnt really like the idea of buying a $500 handheld console. But, gems gave me the idea to buy it. Cuz gems and lessons were freaking boring. And i couldn't keep letting myself play daidi for long. Aso will get bored. Plus if some of my Dadi-Kaki ponten school then i can play psp myself ma. LOL.

I got myself a metallic silver colour psp with a 4gb mem card and some casing. Its seriously expensive, but nevermind la. Cuz lazy to go all the way to tampines to get one cheaper one. Frankly, its better to get it from forums, whre they mass-order to sell. By the way, people who have yet to buy one or wants to buy one, you all can check forums.vr-zone.com. Under the IT Garage section i tin, the consoles subsection. Got one guy selling v1.5 @ 229 if i didnt remember wrongly. Mine i bought @ GM (Gamemaster) for $515 (PSP v1.5 standard pack + 4gb Sandisk Original Mem card + Metal Casing + Twin Power-Data Usb cable). I know la, its ex.

Music's part and parcel of my life. That's one reason why I got my Altec Lansing MX5021 (I still like it) and Creative Soundcard and aso the reason why i'm planning to get a pair of high-end earphones.(If you're thinking sony, its a sign that you've been drawn by the brand.) I'm thinking Bose, Audio-Technica or Shure. But Shure like cheaper lei. If anyone got any of these earphones gimme comments. Was talking to Gin about audio stuff. About the expensive-ness of bose stuff. But i'll definitely spend the money if i had it.

Talking about music, i've been listening to music that are misjudged by other people as boring. But to each his own. I'm currently listening to Acoustic Alchemy's pieces. Definitely not the pop-songs with the LOL lyrics.

I knew this band cuz my dad has the dvd, and whenever i sian i will take his dvds to watch. And I think by now i watch the dvd 10-20+ times liaoz. Any of you want more of their music can msn me. (which i think rarely anyone likes) I've got all of their albums.

Lol, on Thursday last week, I asked Jeremy for some Electrico song samples. Cuz i was going for the concert @ NUS the next day, which was Friday, 30 February. Not bad la. Den after that we exchange songs. And omg, he sent me the Kenny G piece, reminds mi of the time when i was in kindergarten when i listen to the cassette tape everytime i go to bed. And until now, I feel its so nice. But Kenny G only a few pieces nice. Kenny G's Albums up for grabs.

On Friday, 30 February I went for the Electrico concert sponsored by my dad. Lol. Buay pai la. The vocals not like those lame one.Wan electrico music, I don't have. Lol. Singapore Pride.

About bass lesson, I don't think i'll get it liaoz. Think I'll continue with my steel string guitar. But i've been thinking of investing in a good electric acoustic hollow guitar. Mayb budget around $2000-$3000. If anyone got recommendations plz tag or msn me.

Today I took out my dad's toys. His guitar and amp but maybe tml i'll play with the pedals too.

Yes, happy new year. Had a dream during the night of new year's eve. She reappeared suddenly. I was in school, Fajar sec. And like a tape recorder, it replayed that night. We didnt talked, i just hum-ed away just like how i did in the past.

Went for sec 4 fren's outing. Was almost 30min late. The best thing is that zhihao and mingwei came for it, which was quite rare. We talked about where to go for the next 1hr+. At first it was ECP one, but later duno y changed again. So after 1hr+ of discussion, we finally decided to go cineleisure for a movie. And when we were there, we spend somemore time discussing wad to movie to watch. LOL sia, but tt's was we always do. Actually i was quite keen to watch NATM...but....

Mingwei watched "Night at the Museum" and so we cant watch that.
Weiquan watched "Death Note 2" and so we cant watch that.
Roy and Mingwei watched "Curse of the golden flower" and so we cant watch that.

So in the end, we watched something that somewhat gave me an idea of "pearl harbour". The movie was FlyBoys. It's freaking stereotype. You see the title you aso know what izzit liaoz. Flyboys definitely gives you the idea that its a movie on aeroplanes, and when u add guns to the planes and add some romance into the show, that's the full movie. =.='''.

Its a waste of time. It was about 2hr+ i tin. Avoid this movie, its horrendous to me. I've never rate this low on a review.

After the movie we discuss on where to makan our lunch/dinner. At first we went seoul garden but the cost was too lol liaoz. Raf recommended Ramen Ten @ Far East, so we walk from taka to far east lo.

The food there? I personally don't fancy jap food la, IMHO it sux. But the ramen was quite alright, not that bad, the only thing was that ginger taste was alil strong. It was quite spicy too. I ordered the Spicy Teriyaki Salman Ramen i tin. Forgot liaoz. The portion was really pathetic, but its expected la, its town wad. After makaning lunch went to gin's house. Before that go plaza's Auntie Lucy (NTUC) to get some stuff.

We went there to get some vodka, and some other content to mix. The auntie @ NTUC didnt let me buy and insisted on wanting me to flash my IC.

So we went to gin's house with only some lime juice and cans of tonic. Lol. I barely drank up to 2 glasses of vodka + ice cream soda. Den later after a few games of "Bluff/Cheat", I felt alil drowsy. But the amazing thing is that my face turned white. And wth is that so? I only see in movies that pple's face turn red but not white. I seldom drink alcohol. The only times i drank was @ gin's house. It was the place i first drank alcohol.

Lost

Lots of my SP frens asked me to play games with them on hamachi lately but i rejected them. Why? Because i had something else to do. Watch Lost. Worth watching, but not as addictive as prison break.

A hopefully happy new year

Woohoo...the new year approaches...yea, this year isn't exactly the best. Laziness is ruining me. Nth much for this year, the only thing probably to be remembered is how many lessons i pon-ed, which i never needed to resort to during sec sch.

Apart from those torture, i've found happiness in electronic gadgets. Comparing from the previous to this yr, i've definitely became more techo-saavy and exercising less. I never got my balance right. Last time was too much of bball, too alittle study. This time is too lil exercise, too much food, too lil study. So it seems that this time is worse. Sadly, I think i've lost interest in bball, i duno why. Maybe i've gotta hear some FRUCK sounds before i get motivated again, but for now, if you ask me to play bball, you'll hear a totally different answer from the previous years.

So this coming new year, there are a few targets i wish to meet.

I don't wanna become a geek @ home. I'll need some pull factors to pull me outta my home, and current i duno what izzit but hopefully i'll find it.
Healthy lifestyle program

Yes, i know, and please dun remind me again that i failed last year. After 2mths, i succumbed to my mum's offer to a McSpicy Burger and from then, I was back to eating, and this year i'm back to how i was during sec 1?

So yes, I'll be trying to keep my weight down again. It's seriously a waste of food when you have so much food on your table and you dun eat it. Hopefully, it'll last till i serve my nation this time.

And yes again, it'll be cereal or no breakfast, and i'll be in school in the afternoon, so means its no lunch. I know its very possible to eat during break in SP, cuz i've been doing it with no sweat. But the challenge is to maintain eating just enough for dinner. Cuz even though i reached home usually @ 3pm or 4pm, I'm capable of eating excessive amounts.

Eg. I straightaway grab a large packet of Ruffles potato chips after taking off my shoes and socks after returning home.

After finishing Ruffles, if there's still time before dinner and i'm bored, i'll take the whole plastic bag of swee heng bread (about 3-4 bread). Believe it or not, i'll down it before the day ends. Then i'm sure i'll get a drink (Eg. Milo). After that, makan dinner.

After dinner i'll rest awhile and i'm sure before 8.30pm is up, i'll grab the next item on the list, practically anything on the table. Sometimes its biscuits, sometimes its twisties.

And btw, when i open up a bag of tidbits or a carton of biscuits, u'll find nothing after i get my hands on it.

I think its most likely boredom or just for fun. Its become such a habit to take something in after i walk out of my room.

I think i've exceeded 80kg now. I couldnt believe it when my auntie showed me a photo of me taken during sec 3 (with my moustache hair) to show me how much i gained. =.=''', so bloody demoralising. So the target would be like sec 3. My closest to a healthy lifestyle.
BASS LESSONS.

Yes, i want it so much. I just casually told my dad today afternoon, maybe he would think i'm joking. But i'll make sure he gets my message. Dad needs time too, cuz taking up a new instrument is expensive. You've need enough money for the bass + lessons + amp for a start. I'm ok to do the upgrading myself. Yup, i want it very much, but i've been thinking for how long this excitement will last. I don't wanna find myself playing it for only a year. I'm sure my sponsor would aso wun wan to see me playing for only a short amount of time.
Maybe lessons @ yahama, since its the only music school to offer bass lessons. Plus bass lessons would give me another reason to escape home to enjoy the outside world. It helps deduct geek pts. But veri little since its only once a week.

Bass? My dad doesn't know what to buy, and so, i'll have to do alil research to find wad's good and budget. Maybe i'll aim to play get my music theory and basics right, and get some riffs played. I'm more concerned with the basics, cuz bad habits suck. And no, if pple in church are looking to find me to play during worship this coming yr, i'm sorry, i've gotta turn you down, cuz i dun wanna find myself playing w/o knowing wad i'm playing.

Its better to immerse yourself in learning music den to makan like cr4zy.
Give myself a reason to like attending lessons

It had been a really tough year to like school. Maybe my adaptability suck or smth. But i'll try smth to motivate me to go to school more often. It has never been like that all my life, kindergarten, pri sch, sec sch. The most i'll skip two days in a year cuz i'm sick or smth. Oh yes, although its been a boring year, i've never fallen sick this whole year.

Before i continue, lemme countdown first. LOL...9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1...Happy new year...~!@#$%^&*()_...LOL...Relax la, pple in bangkok crying lei...
Maintaining and Improving my relationship with my relatives and family

Maybe its the number of times i've been meeting them, i get all anti-social with some of my relatives. My mum? i've always been communicating v well with her, sometimes shouting even, but its still a form of communication. My sister? No problems with communication too. They are the most communicat-able at home.

My dad? Maybe i and him spend veri lil time together, but i've always have some problem with asking him to get something for me. But shouldn't a son be comfortable to ask his dad to buy smth for him? Never for me, ever since birth maybe. Most of frenz know that i've even saved for my gameboy during pri 3 when i've only $1 as allowance. Could only afford a gameboy pocket. But he's always been providing for my sch fees and stuff. (Duh!).

I've always got a problem communicating with my dad's youngest sister (2nd auntie) and her family. I duno why aso. Mayb its the truth that i'll turn all cold and boring if i dun sped time with pple.

Church friends? I've always been a block of wood. I talked veri lil, as if i'm some retard. I dun even noe whether i can regard them as friends, cuz i'm never talking to them volunteerily for the last 17 yrs. No common topics to start with.

I really wanna change to be more sociable, but wun it be weird if some lol guy didnt really talked to you for the past 17 yrs and suddenly he talks like!@#$%^&*()_+. Weird weird one lei.

Finances had been quite stable. No overspending. No CNY during 2006 for me cuz of my grandpa's death during 13/4/2005 6:30pm. There's no overspending, but there's aso no increase in my funds. Yea, i wanna be wad i used to be, a giver as well as someone who could control his funds. Last time i could buy supper for my family at my own expense. 4 fillet o fish burgers. But since sec 3, didnt buy liaoz.

Actually for me, its not the huat factor la, its how i use my money. Its a bomb this year considering the number of days i worked this year - 0 days. I managed to save enuff money to get my speakers, soundcard, headphones, mouse, keyboard = $600+++. And i still got my 1.3k reserved for the upcoming ps3.

On the item list this year, its more challenging:

1. Razer mouse ($60-$100)
2. Logitech G15 Keyboard ($105)
3. Supper frequently for family
4. Bass upgrading (If my dad agrees for me to play bass that is)
5. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 750GB HDD.
6. PSP
7. Increase PS3 reserve by $200 to $1500.

Which means, u won't be seeing me eating @ sp for the whole of 2007. Its a 60cent qin chow for me.
Other aims

-Bringing torrenting to a whole new lvl.
-Get a part time job w/o getting fired for slacking.
-Eliminate laziness.

Things havent been going smoothly like this whole year. Even now i feel like crap. Nothing to look forward to. Boring Boring Boring Boring. Life is full of downs lol?

By the way ar, 4e1 pple why no outing? I damn bored man. SP frenz? Don't even need or feel like asking. Firstly, the people near me won't wanna go out. And the few that wants to go out are like staying so far away in the east. That's why I always feel fajarians are the best. I'm totally getting the opposite experience of what poly students should get la, wtf. If there're students that just finished their O's and need a reason to not go poly, i'm the living testimony. Just cant blend with them well enough to goof ard.

It had been really boring after the last update.

Didn't turn up for school on tuesday(12/12/06), wednesday(13/12/06) and friday(15/12/06).

So i shall talk about some few days which some interesting stuff happened like...

11/12/06 - Monday
Came to school today cuz i'm alil worried about my ISE attendance, cuz Mr Liew may be a lil more sensitive to attendance. Class ended with WCD, which i can never follow what the heck Ms Kim is doing. Totally lost after the html chapter. CSS was cr4zy enuff, then now Javascript, wth? WCD ended half an hour earlier cuz Ms Kim wasn't feeling well. So after class i stayed back awhile to play Warhammer 40k with fabian on sch comp lo.

After that sean called me to look for them (IDEA project group) @ fc4. So ok lo. I was on my way to fc4. Then got this unknown caller called my hp. And wth? It's the Annie Sung - IDEA Lecturer. I roughly had an idea of what she wanna talk to me about. It is attendance. But i was part wrong, cuz she said she wanted to pass me some crap donation card. =.=''' So she came down from office and passed me the card. Then she talked to me about my poor attendance and my punctuality.

Annie Sung: Joel, what happened to you ar? Seldom see you around in school nowadays lei, and you always late for my lessons. Can you tell me why is that so?
J0sA1Ac: Err, haf mei? (trying to kay siao awhile)
Annie Sung: Haf. The other lecturers also told me about your poor attendance. Always late, always nv come. What happened Joel?
J0sA1Ac: (So I came clean with her lo.) Sian lor. Don't feel like coming.
Annie Sung: Why? Izzit of the travelling time? Or very hard to make friends? But cannot be wad, last semester your attendance was quite good wad.
J0sA1Ac: Travelling lo, and modules boring + cant really catch up. Almost all modules i sian liaoz (Actually, a big part was the friends la, but i didnt tell her, later make trouble)

Annie Sung: Aiya, so near.
J0sA1Ac: Lol, 45-60 minutes lei cher.
Annie Sung: Aiya, go work lo, earn money to buy a car (I was like, are you serious or am i supposed to laugh? But apparently she was seriously.)

After that went on to fc4 for project discussion. Den went home.

Oh yes, my life is currently boring. But there are also things that keep me going. To entertain myself at home i've got the whole season 2 and part of season 3 of Mythbusters to watch. Its really nice. Informative and yet interesting.

today sux la. firstly its cuz today got gems, but nigel and i purposely 1hr late lol, cuz nigel + i + ben + jon played bigtwo/daidi/dalaoer @ fc4 after lunch. today's hand damn good, duno why aso. and today i ATE @ SP, wth? Cuz very bored la, so eat lo. The most less money only ma. Nothing much to save for also. After gems came home lo. Saw Salman from pri.sch on the lrt with his skateboard. Didnt say hi, cuz the lrt train damn packed. First time i saw him ever since i left pri.sch sia. He's taller liaoz (of cuz la, feihua, who wun grow taller from pri sch onwards?). Face didnt changed much, that's y i can recognize him. Lol just got the letter by mindef, to register for some ns thing. I get so late sia.

today the singnet people came to upgrade my internet connection to 5Mbps. Sux la, i lost my admin rights to the router. zZz. Router back to where it was, my parents' room. Which means i don't have the ethernet cable, which means i'll have slower speeds. Which means my dls will be slower. Which means.....

Long and short, I want wired connection, wireless too unstable.

But i'll give u readers my word. I'll negotiate with my parents' and return the router to where it is destined to be. My room. Pwahhaha. SHOW

Boring again. Today got pck, and that's the only thing that's interesting. Today didnt go to school for IDEA, boring la, plus i thought got nothing to do, but actually my group got re-presentation. Paiseh ar, my IDEA group. Came for the hardcore 3hrs of DBMS, but as usual playing bigtwo/daidi/dalaoer in class with the "four big sky king" (chinese), louis, fabian, me and [yuh shyang or jon or cr]. But me fabian and louis sure play one la. LOL. I know its bad to not listen in class la, but u noe u noe XD. Yesterday saw a job (link to job details) @ forums@vr-zone i would like to try to apply for. Some promoting job @ sls la. I no promoting exp, but nowadays jobs usually are promo jobs ma. So must learn lo. Somemore @ sls, hope its easy lo. Called that guy today, he says interview tml @ 6.30pm lo.

Wednesday is as usual lol one la. Morning got CRS presentation, as again as usual, my presentation part confirm suck la, can aso say its retarded la. Cuz i duno why i got problem with explaining stuff to a class. Cant talk much. Got any tips on how to improve on oral presentations drop it in the tagboard, cuz i really suck in it. And i dun wanna be a liability to my group when it comes to presentations. After school went home rest awhile then went with junwei/sexy for the interview. We took a taxi there since we duno how to go, LOL. Then it started to rain. zZz...Didn't know the exact venue, so i called the guy again. The guy says his office is one the terrace. Den i lol. In my mind = "scammer sia".

The guy give us form write write then he come in talk talk lo. Lol sia, he says, "We're aiming for high sales on weekends, let's say about 20 units per weekend?" My jaw hit the ground sia. Tio shock. So much la. Its not pencil or pen lei. Its LCD Monitors or Laptops leiz. Hey, people who had promoter jobs b4, how's your business usually, and how you get your business? (post them @ the tagboard) Most likely i'll work @ sls during the 3 weeks hols (starting from 17 dec) and the 2mths hols (from feb 11). HUAT AR! Hope so la. Hope people got sudden crave for electronics. IT is the 'it' thing now.

Basic $5/hr. Working from 11.30pm to 7.30pm lo. Commission? Almost like dun haf la. $6 for each laptop. $10 for each laptop during weekend. If i really can sell 20 units per weekend then say. So if you ever come to sls, don't come find me unless u plan to buy stuff from me. LOL, no la, up 2 u la, jk.

Thursday? at first decide to skip WCD only, but in the end i skipped the day. LOL. Thursday = guitar class, omg. Took a taxi down to International Plaza, the taxi fare is cr4zy, i tin its $17++ that day. Everything was so normal until after guitar class. I chased the last 700, and the flag down the bus and stood at the door but!? the bus driver bochap me. WTF!? Ok, nvm. Den the 970 came, The bus bo chap me again. WTF? That moment i hot sia. LOL. Two days in one

today i immersed myself in my world of music the whole day. Tried NFS with my new speakers cuz that's the only game i have in my computer for now. Uninstalled the other games. Its very cinema-ish. Big sounds, big bass. Shook my room's window grilles at volume level 1 (max lvl 4). Power huh? yet to try full blast, that one must wait my sister and dad not at home.

This day sucked for the morning till 2. After gems' quiz i went down to SITEX with jeremy, qc and junwei. Jeremy went for fun, cuz his house was quite near expo. Qc went to see mp3 players and mayb he showgirls there (sadly i think only weekends got). When i got in, i quickly went for the list of stuff gin loen wanted. first i went to look for cybermind's linksys booth.

first i went to look for cybermind's linksys booth. first time i walked past i didnt get a chance to squeeze in to get the stuff, so walk one big round and walk back there. This time it was more empty and so i talked to the part time sales man lo. As expected, cant get discounts, so i got some free gifts, like a wireless mouse, an umbrella and a pouch. Didnt want the mineral water, LOL. The total price of the 2 linksys products was $289 + $76 = $365. Near the linksys got razer stuff by cybermind, damn tempted to buy, razer diamondback only $49, but didnt wanna overspend. Then after that got a call from Qc, saying he was leaving liaoz, so he left lo. Not sure whether he got hoot anything.

After that i got the external harddisk from seagate. No gifts at all, but got lucky draw. Got a chance to win some Maxtor thing, forgot what's the exact prize. After that went to check whether sitex got feature my altec lansing speakers. But don't have the ones i want, so i decided to make a trip to funan after sitex.

Took mrt from expo to city hall. Reached funan, first shop for me is always South East Asia Computer pte.ltd, cuz i always take the escalator up and also cuz it has a huge variety of stuff, not the cheapest also. Junwei accompanied me also, i made sure he did. Needed his help to help me take stuff. When i and junwei went there, we took our time looking @ all the stuff there. Including comparing the prices with the ones in SITEX. I got a shock when i found out Gin's Linksys products was about $70 more ex @ SITEX. After that talked to a sales man, one of the longest talks i had with a salesman. I SPEAKED IN CHINESE BTW, very smoothly. I maintained my chinese standards i hope, with the help of my sec sch frenz. Saw both the Altec Lansing FX6021 and MX5021 @ SEA Comp. FX6021 @ $269, MX5021 @ $219. Went to other stores to check prices. Check liao then went to Challenger compare sound quality between the two sets of speakers. In the end, I personally preferred the MX5021, sexy also prefer it. To me, its cause its clearer than the FX6021. In the end, went to CH Comp. to buy my speakers @ $210, the cheapest in Funan. Asked about the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX's price, CH Comp. sold it @ $999.

Wah kaoz, tell you hor, i promise i won't want my weight to exceed 100kg man. The weight (Gin's stuff on one hand + speakers on one hand by the rafia string) i carried was like adding weight to me till i was exceeding 100kg. Stopped a few times to rest my hands/fingers. Was sweating like cr4zy. FINALLY reached home. WOO..and one step nearer to gettin power sounds. Fixed my speakers after dinner. Reorganised my home's wiring before i fixed my speakers. THANKS ALOT junwei. Great to have you help me with the weight.

And Viola, its done. Hook up everything and started enjoying. And now for pictures and reviews. No cheesy smiles this time.

Seagate 320GB External Hard Disk

Nice buy by Gin. I like the price, but not the shape and design of it. $199 for it @ SITEX. Quite fat, comparing it to my current 200gb external. Design not very nice. But seagate's good stuff.

Linksys Wireless-N Adapter

Definitely one of the best in the market now. N's the newest. Price wise, i'm not very sure. Didnt compare it to Funan's. $76 @ SITEX. Another quality buy from Gin, rich boy.

Linksys Wireless-N Router

lol...quality stuff, but paid a higher price than required. Scammed/Cheated/whatever @ SITEX. Bought @ $289, cheapest in funan @ $205. Again, definitely one of the best for home users. New product. Personally, i will not buy such a expensive router and adapter. Too ex for quality. Quality buy by Gin again, rich boy.

Altec Lansing MX5021

As you can see, its not small, imagine yourself carrying that in one hand by the rafia string. Compared to a standard one-dollar coin.

Large speakers, larger subwoofer, huge sounds. At the background of this pic is my tv tuned to chn 8's 9pm show. LOL.

All i can say is that its really good for the cost. Very solid set of speakers. As bassy as you want. As i said, it shooked my room's window grilles with only volume lvl 1. Certified by THX. Of cuz, no surround effects that i can get from my razer barracuda headphones, but the solid cinema-ish sounds compensates. OWNAGE. Played warcraft with it. Impressive. I liked it when the guy says ownage, or stuff like killing spree! Bassy, echoish.

All my songs that i dun like suddenly so nice. Testing with Victor Wooten's Music, Casino Royale's theme song, and blahblahblah etc. MX5021 + Creative's Studio = POWERPACKED ACTION! Want test come my house.

so fast its friday tml. too tired to do up a long post with crap. mayb tml. going to service my razer headphone tml + go SITEX see speakers after GEMS, mayb buying lo. today super boring la, zZz...today morning saw jayne at the lrt station, but she's on the other side. Didnt talked much cuz she's on the phone plus in the morning i dun like to talk. As usual, i'm late for school again. VERY VERY boring. WCD nowadays cr4zy-ly hard for me. Javascript sux. Couldnt keep up with the pace, so i diverted from the class, looking into forums and went into surfing the net. Den gin smsed me ask me help him hoot some stuff from SITEX. I'm ok with it la, but i need him to gimme exact models, cuz the money we're dealing is power.

Btw gin, if u wanna go SITEX with me tml, i'll be going there late also, cuz i'll go down to Ban Leong Tech. first to service my headphones.

I officially lost my first thumbdrive on Monday. Sux la, my practicals all in there.

Tuesday I went for my IDEA presentation, the product my group came out with was rejected, so gotta revamp lo. Felt so sian during tuesday so i went home after IDEA lesson, didnt attend DBMS and NETF. Decided to fix my soundcard lo. And its officially the first time i opened up my own comp and fix stuff into it myself. My dad always does it for me. Spent 1 hr cautiously fixing the soundcard and console into my PC cuz my comp's ex to me. It worked. The result's very satisfying, anyone wanna test can come my house test, but gimme a call first.

Wednesday was a long day, with the SMIT security awareness event. I, Louis, Cr, Paul and many more were manning the games booth. At first like no business one, but then suddenly one by one come lo. Den suddenly got two chabor take about 10-20 pieces of word search crap from us. LOL, take for whole lecture hall, do during lecture wtf? The reward's a CD-RW, which is quite lame to me, but its just a small prize for a small little game. Plus we gave "hints", actually err, more like we gaf the answers. Got a copy of Norton Antivirus 2007, which is again lame to me. So anyone wants that unopened copy of Norton Antivirus, i'm willing to sell at $30.

A week without early dismissal

today i've gotta stay back for the SMIT security awareness crap, zZz...and i stayed back for 2 hrs+ for only less than 15mins of briefing. den tml class until 4pm, zZz...den wed got the security awareness thing, zZz...at least until 5pm. den thursday worse, school + guitar lesson. Come home 9pm+ liaoz. den friday got gems. Whole week without an early dismissal sia, how to get my soundcard into my comp? I scared i spoil my card, so trying to get Junwei to come my house, but always late dismissal, sian. I think i gonna take leave/pon on thursday liaoz. Tues cant pon, cuz got IDEA presentation. Wed got security awareness. Fri got gems. Gems if pon somemore dun need take exam liaoz. zZz...SITEX IT show coming liaoz, i wanna put in my card before i get my 2.1 speakers leiz. But now seems like its not possible liaoz. i'll post more information about the speakers i'm looking for.

today after school raining like crap AGAIN. My mum is right again, and i'm wrong again. Next time i'll make sure i put the umbrella into my bag liaoz. Then i rang the doorbell, and my mum with the LOL face open the door and taunt me, "see la, bu ting lao ren yan". Just now just got a new game (means of getting it not important), and it sux. If you intended to get this game, DON'T.

Firstly, the graphics sux. Details very blurr. Then, the gameplay is pure crap. Taking up 3 gb for such a low quality game is total BS. Keys not user friendly. Say NO to this game like how you'll say no to drugs.

This speakers looks to be better in blowing your house. Look at the number of holes on each satellite - 6. For speakers more holes = better lo. Compared to MX5021 this is better at producing big volumes. Plus the satellite base can be removed, which means can blutack the satellites on my wall. Saves more space. But the problem is that this set of speakers more ex by at least 70 bucks. Can kill man. Saw @ funan around $270. Hope SITEX will reduce price.

A different Sunday.

Woohoo...listening to pat metheny's "Always and Forever" while doing up this post. Today played for church, wasn't that good actually, in fact quite screwed up. Maybe too nong never touch my guitar liaoz, had been dreaming about bass the past few days. Today in church while sitting on my seat getting ready for worship, i looked across the room, omg? so little people. Sunday's the only time i can touch my dad's precious electric guitar, so also very song la. Lolz... got a call from karhock during sermon, so i stepped out and excitedly pick up the call lo.

Karhock GOT the X-Fi Fatal1ty for me. YES, for me. lol...But the bad part of the news is that Karhock could only get one unit, cuz its policy that promo items limited to 1 per person, which means Jonathan don't get it lo. Sad ar, Jon. And if Jon don't get I also sian. Cuz if Jon can get it at promo price too then that's means we can split the money to pay Karhock. And Karhock also sad if Jon don't get it, cuz if he managed to get 2 units, he'll receive $70 from me and Jon. Let's make it simpler to understand:

If Karhock gets two promo units, one for me and one for Jon,
Karhock will receive $70.
Jon and I will only have to pay karhock $35 each.

If Karhock gets one promo unit, one for me,
Karhock will receive $60.
I will have to pay karhock $60.

But anyway also earn la, cuz original price $400+. Just got the soundcard from Karhock just now @ 2.30pm i think. Then excitement fill the air liaoz. Now gotta think when i'm gonna install the soundcard into my comp, cuz i leave my comp on everyday like every second until i sleep. May need junwei A.K.A Sexy Boss to help me too.

Lol...This text editor is really bugged. Thursday is the most busiest day of my week, at least for now. Cuz every Thursday after school got guitar lesson @ International Plaza. That like from Dover to Tanjong Pagar or Bt.panjang to Tanjong Pagar lol? Last time always decide to come home after school before going out again to international plaza but since 3 weeks back I started to go straight from SP. But the lol part of this is that I must wait for at least 2 hours at international plaza before my lesson starts. School ends at 4.30 but my lesson starts @ 6.30. zZz...

Guitar lessons getting irritating and boring, cuz now all fingerstyle crap. And the stuff they teach so not soothing to the ears. The chords like anyhow anyhow one. But nevermind, wait another 4 months finish liaoz...wooohohoohoo...

This thursday i was lucky enuff to catch to the last 700 from international plaza back to bt.panjang. Then as usual on the bus, i'll either fall asleep on the bus or i'll think about stuff. I thought about alot of crap on this trip. About how i was gonna finish my wcd project when the submission is on the next day. But i and louis still got the work done. And then i also thought of the electric bass, I wanna learn after my lame guitar lessons @ international plaza finish. Most probably from someone private or else bo bian, go yamaha learn. Thought of some crappy stuff, like what will happen if my dad, my sis and I play as a family band.

And ya ar, although forgot, jonathan during the afternoon in class told me about creative's warehouse sale. I excited, but at the same time sian, cuz the promotion for the thing I want only on Sunday (I'm in church)...zZz...impossible to skip church to line up for a product right? LOL...den when i went home, i suddenly thought of the warehouse sale and thought of a cr4zy idea, pay someone to help me line up. Then, i put an ad on msn lo. Wait for people to reply. Den Clifford came to ask, but he got work so cant help me. Then the uber, handsome, karhock A.K.A Karl came, and help me for the $50. Thanks Karhock, make sure you help me get it.

The Electric Bass

I probably didnt know wth is this instrument till about last year or so. Didnt really took notice of this instrument, cuz usually when i hear songs, i seldom take notice of the instruments. Until one day when my sister told me to take up playing bass cuz she liked the sound it produced. Only then did I really take notice of the bass. And from day onwards, in every song I heard, I heard the bass. And as time past, I began to want to learn it.

Even then, I usually heard bass as the icing on the cake in songs. And I thought it was that way, until, youtube helped me understand my mistake. It can be played solo, rhythmically like the electric guitar too.

Victor Wooten

First thought after watching him = omg? Second thought = power!? Really good music. Like this type of music, is this comtempo or what? What I know its not metal (I hate metal, to me its some musicians trying to prove that loud is good. Jimi Hendrix's music is the limit for me) , but if you like metal, by all means, its our choice. =) If you liked the guy/video I posted, try this.

Today must present ISE project and hand up WCD assignment liaoz. Nothing much lo. I and louis kept cheong-ing WCD until about 4pm, just one hour before submission deadline. Jonathan asked me to help him ask karhock to help purchase another soundcard for him at the warehouse sale. Today actually meeting up with karhock @ fajar lrt station @ 5pm to give him the money to buy the soundcards at first, but i did wcd assignment till 4 and stayed in SP until about 5+, so sms-ed him to tell him I can only meet him about 7pm. Met him and gave him the money. I'm little worried that he can't get it after reading something on the vr-zone forums. Some people planning to queue for the promo @ 6am. And then when I went home after meeting karhock, I played a little NFS: Carbon, but cant win Darius again, so i quit playing for the day and continued to watch wonderful videos on youtube featuring Victor Wooten.
